The afternoon began with Director of Communications Kevin Butler giving the report of the Tract and Communications Council--- |
assisted by a cast of thousands----er, four? |
The Center on Ministry report was next, with the Council on stage--- |

| The team who went to Colton California not only visited Disneyland (on their day off), they worked at a rescue mission and ran a soccer-themed VBS. |

SCSC Committee members Janet Butler and Michelle Crandall thanked all who prayed for or donated to the SCSC program, and handed out certificates and ribbons to the students. |
Committee Chairman Linda Lawton presented retiring Training Director Pastor Steve Osborn an engraved clock in appreciation for his five years of service to SCSC. |
She also introduced new Training Director Jane Mackintosh and encouraged all who were interested in hosting a team or being in SCSC to pick up a packet of information. |

The Women's Banquet began with a fellowship time when the women could see what the Women's Board is doing, like the electronic newsletter.

Women were encouraged to "mix it up" by sitting with people they might not know very well. |

| Aladdin catering (Evangel's food service) provided a delicious buffet line. |
Each Women's Board member sat at a different table so that we could all get to know one another better. |
Speakers for the evening were the mother-daughter team of Althea Rood and Kristin Camenga. |
They took us on a "time machine" trip to look at the past, and future, of the Women's Board. |
It was a delightful presentation! |

studying either the Conference theme or The Helping Hand--- |
with a variety of teachers--- |

ranging from lecture to discussion, with teacher seated or standing, stationary or roaming. |
Junior High and Senior High--- |
each had their own class as well. |
Sabbath worship began with singing praises. |

| We were blessed by the Conference Choir. |

Sabbath noon and dinner meals this year were served with four buffet lines. |
The food was good, and mealtimes provided--- |
many opportunities for visiting. |
Night after Sabbath saw President Paul Andries turn the gavel over to new Conference President Stephen Rogers of Salem, West Virginia. |
