Excerpts from a local Association report sent by Linda Harris

“A Servant’s Heart” was more than the theme chosen by President Danny Lee for Mid-Continent Association in Colorado Springs, October 11-12, 2013. Over a dozen attendees went to Crossfire Ministries on Sabbath afternoon to deliver warm blankets and hats as well as to sort and label winter coats and sweaters. Those who were able to go truly exhibited servant hearts.

Crossfire Ministries has been the focus of outreach ministry by the SpringsLife SDB Church as well as Springs Rescue Mission. Crossfire offers a pantry of food, clothes, toiletries, and necessities; a mission thrift store; outreaches to men and women; a quilting ministry; and several outreaches to foreign missions. Crossfire is located about a mile from the church.
