The Week of Prayer booklets, sponsored and provided by the SDB World Federation, will soon be on the way to your church’s mailbox.
This 2014 theme is “Walking in the Light,” with the daily meditations written by Bethany Chroniger of Shiloh, New Jersey. She offers a fresh perspective on world missions after completing a year of travel with the group “Adventures in Missions.” She served in 10 different countries in 11 months.
Bethany shares, “After seeing other cultures and how Christianity is manifested in each, I have come to realize that I do not need to let my own culture define my walk with Christ. No matter what my culture, if my life is not lining up with the Word of God and [His] Kingdom culture, then I have a serious problem.”
