“Perspective Change” by Bethany Chroniger
Scripture: Colossians 3:1-4
When we can behold Jesus daily—to see Him high and lifted up at the right hand of the Father—it would change the way we live. He has already promised to never leave or forsake us. He keeps His promises.
Sometimes in the midst of hard situations, we need to preach the Gospel and Truth to ourselves. When I don’t want to tithe, I quickly do a heart check and remind myself that it is not an obligation, but a privilege to be able to co-labor with Christ.
I think that we miss a lot of what God wants to do in and through us because we have our perspectives wrong. I need to put heaven’s priorities in my daily life, and I need to look at life from God’s perspective.
Reflection:
Where in my life do I have the wrong perspective?
Prayer:
Father, Thank You for Jesus. Help me to see Jesus as He is, high and lifted up, seated at the Your right hand. Thank You that You see, You know, You reign, You are sovereign and You are King. Help this reality change my perspective and, in turn, change how I live. Amen
Pray for our brethren in North America:
