Is your son or daughter (or member of your church) getting ready to head for training for Summer Christian Service Corps? Wouldn’t you like to “see” them one more time right before they embark on their project?
Every year at SCSC Training, the Staff and Committee hold a service to commission the young adults and Project Directors for their summer of service. This year that service will be co-sponsored by the Allegheny Association, and will be live-streamed!
The commissioning service will be held at the Alfred Station (N.Y.) SDB Church at 3:00 pm Eastern time on June 21. According to Alfred Station Pastor Ken Chroniger, “The Service will allow these young adults to know they have a special mission to perform in the Kingdom and that they are not alone. The Service will also give an opportunity to honor the Women’s Society SCSC Committee and Training Staff. Please make time to join in the Blessing.”
