Reporting for 2015-16 Scripture Memory Program

Written by Nicholas Kersten

June 17, 2016

The month of June marks the end of the Scripture Memory Program for 2015-16, after beginning this year’s program after last year’s General Conference sessions.  Successful completion of the program makes the participants (both individuals and churches) eligible for recognition, but in order to be properly recognized, participants need to report their completion of the program to the Christian Education Council at the SDB Center.  Forms for reporting the names of those who have completed the program can be downloaded below, or from the Scripture Memory Program’s page

Churches who report the completion of the program by their congregants will receive certificates of recognition for their participants.  In addition, churches who report prior to the deadline of July 8, 2016 will be eligible to win one of two awards for their churches based on their participation.  One award is given to the church with the highest number of participants, and the other is given to the church with the highest percentage of participants.   These awards will be given at General Conference at Houghton, New York on August 6, 2016.  Certificates will be mailed to churches after General Conference.

Addition information about the ministries of the Christian Education Council can be found here.  If you want to support the ministries of the Seventh Day Baptist CEC can do so here.
