Registration for Pastors Conference 2017 is LIVE

Our next SDB Pastors Conference will be taking place from April 25-27 (Tuesday-Thursday), 2017 in Alfred Station, NY. Travel days will be April 24 and April 28. (You may make your own arrangements to arrive earlier or depart later.)

The theme for this year’s gathering will be, “Soul Care“. We will be discussing, learning, and praying about taking care of and nurturing our own souls and the souls of our congregations. Some of our own pastors and leaders will facilitate times of learning and discussion focused on the topic. We will also experience the camaraderie of fellowship with one another.

We will start at 9am each day. On Wednesday, we will be joined by Rev. Brian Croft from Practical Shepherding who will be delivering a workshop in the afternoon (open to community pastors as well) leading us through the Pastor’s Soul, the Pastor’s Family, the Pastor’s Ministry, and the Pastor’s Journey. A bookstore will also be open with resources for purchase.

We will be lodging at Camp Harley Sutton (or you could make your own arrangements) and having sessions and eating at the Alfred Station SDB Church. If you are flying and need transportation to Alfred Station, you should make arrangements to fly in and out of Greater Rochester (NY) International Airport (ROC). The registration fee will be $50. If you need assistance to cover this fee, you may be eligible for Continuing Education Funds

Please register here by April 15.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Director of Pastoral Services at jpethtel@seventhdaybaptist.org or 608-752-5055 ext. 1009.
