Battle Creek SDB Pastor Installation

Something to celebrate! Pastor Scott Paulin was installed as Associate Pastor of the Battle Creek Seventh Day Baptist Church on Saturday, September 18, 2021. During the service, Pastor Scott and his wife Chris were prayed over by those gathered, with attending pastors and deacons leading the prayer time. Lead Pastor of the Battle Creek SDB Church, Tim Smothers, closed the prayer time. Following the service, a blessed time of fellowship was enjoyed as we continued to praise God together and simply savored time together.

Part of the celebration is the joy of seeing the discipleship process of a church at work. Pastor Scott has been serving in many ministry roles over the years at Battle Creek SDB, and the church has been actively and intentionally preparing him for this new season. There is also reason to celebrate as a General Conference. Pastor Scott is one of the first graduates of the SDBU Ministry Leadership Certificate and is currently a student in the SDBU Pastoral Leadership Certificate Program.

Blessings on the journey ahead Pastor Scott and Chris!
