One of the exciting developments in the history work in 2022 has been the completion of a book by Wayne Maxson on noted SDB pastor and abolitionist Rev. Darwin E. Maxson.
In order to give Seventh Day Baptists a chance to hear about the history work, ask questions they may have, and join the conversation about SDB History, Director of History Nick Kersten will be hosting a session for SDBs and interested parties on Sunday, November 20th at 4pm Eastern/3pm Central/2pm Mountain/1pm Pacific time.
The goal of this time will be to give brief updates about the progress of SDB history work and to provide opportunities for questions from those who attend about the progress of the work. Conversations about current and upcoming projects are also possible if time permits.
The support of SDB history work takes all of us because the SDB history work is about all of us. For that reason, joining the conversation is an important way to contribute the work of remembering our past to inform the present and envision the future.
