Two Winter Youth Retreats Incoming!

It is a long Seventh Day Baptist tradition to gather our young people at times throughout the year to fellowship, worship, and grow together.  Last year, for the first time in several years, this tradition was carried forward during the holiday season by devoted SDBs in the Appalachian and Eastern Associations with a joint youth retreat held in New Jersey which was open to SDB students from around the country.  That retreat was successful, thanks to the hard work of the planning crew, the staff, cooperating parents, and the hosts.

This year, there are two such retreats scheduled over this year’s Christmas/New Year’s Eve Holiday.

The first retreat is scheduled at Camp Joy in West Virginia, and runs from Wednesday, December 27th through Sunday, December 31st.  You can find out more information about the retreat here, including registration information.

The second retreat is taking place at Camp Wakonda in Southern Wisconsin, and runs from Friday, December 29th through Monday, January 1st.  You can find out more information by contacting the Connecting Church – Milton SDB.

We encourage all SDBs to prayerfully support the students who will gather, the staffs at both camps, and the travel to and from that God may grow these students in the knowledge of the Lord and in their friendships with one another.
