Introducing Lakeview SDB Church of Saucier, Mississippi! I recently had a delightful visit at the church and would like to share a few pictures with you. Pastor Houston, Pitch, and Hanna Taylor were wonderful hosts as they introduced me to their ministry context and their next steps forward as a church.

Saucier, MS has a quaint, small town feel nestled within the Gulfport-Biloxi Metro Region. The region has a population of over 400,000 people, where Gulfport is the second most populated city in Mississippi and Biloxi is the fourth most populated. For a sense of geographic location, Saucier is about 90 minutes from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Church planting and evangelism are clearly priorities for the church. As stated by Pastor Houston, “We are also proudly working with the Seventh Day Baptist (Conference) and are working alongside some of their pastors and conference in Southern Mississippi.”
Lakeview is a recent addition to the SDB General Conference website’s “Find a Church” tab. Lakeview became connected to SDBs through the outreach connections of Pastor David Stall and have participated in the SDB Church Planting Bootcamps. Pastor Houston, Pitch, and Hanna have attended the SDB Summit, and Pastor Houston continues to maintain a number of connections with SDB pastors and the Conference. We are looking forward to deepening our ministry partnership with Lakeview over the months ahead!
