I am incredibly thankful for the privilege of working alongside Lydia Solomon in her role as the SDB Women’s Board President and member of the SDB Coordinating Leadership Team (CLT). The following is a great introduction provided by Lydia. Please send along your encouragement as she leans into these new roles!
Greetings from the Mountain State!
I have been a part of the Salem Seventh Day Baptist Church since 1987. My husband, Nicholas, and I will celebrate 19 years of marriage on September 9, 2025, and together we are raising four sons and a foster daughter, whose ages range from 16 down to 3. We make our home in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Professionally, I have spent over 20 years in people management within healthcare and now serve in Human Resources for Bridgepointe Technologies, based out of San Mateo, California. My passion is centered on process improvement, career development, and providing education and training that helps people grow.
In our church community, I have enjoyed directing Camp Joy programs, Vacation Bible School, and several Christmas programs and musicals. I also had the privilege of serving as Recognitions Chairperson for the SDB Women’s Board from 2021–2023, followed by two years as Vice President. Looking ahead, my focus for the Women’s Board is on developing and nurturing connections and relationships, with an emphasis on consistent communication and creating a strong feedback loop. I am also excited to be working with the Conference Leadership Team to integrate the Women’s Society more fully into the conference and contribute our ideas and strengths to the mission of the conference as a whole.
Together, with the CLT, the Women’s Board is excited for the year ahead. We are excited to see what God is doing with the growth of Summer Christian Service Corps and the potential to help our Pastor’s wives with Hidden Healer.
