The Seventh Day Baptist World Federation has released the 2026 Week of Prayer Booklet. SDB Director Nick Kersten, of the SDB Conference of USA and Canada, is the author of the devotions for January 4 – 10, 2026.

Since 1967, Seventh Day Baptists around the world have joined together during the first full week of January to seek God in prayer. Each year, we share meditations written around a common theme that unites us in reflection, worship, and intercession.
This year’s theme, “Created to Create,” reminds us that we were formed in God’s image not only to worship Him, but also to reflect His creativity in our discipleship, service, and daily lives. As we pray together across nations, may God inspire us to live out this calling with boldness and joy.
