SDB Connect has a dedicated Conference tab with everything you need: venue details, registration links, lodging information, and a full session schedule organized by day. Filter sessions by type: worship, business, workshops, social gatherings, or meals, and tap into any session to see the speaker, their biography, and the exact time and location. A live countdown keeps the excitement building as Conference approaches.
The Scripture Memory Program: Memorize Scripture Like Never Before
This is the heart of the app. The Scripture Memory Program (SMP) is a full-featured, gamified system designed to help you truly internalize God’s Word — not just read it, but know it.
Here’s how it works:
Each year, the SMP features a set of monthly verses that unlock on a schedule, plus an optional bonus passage for those who want an extra challenge. Your goal is to move each verse through five mastery levels: New → Learning → Familiar → Memorized → Mastered.
Five interactive drill types keep practice fresh and effective:
- First Letter Drill — See only the first letter of each word and fill in the rest from memory
- Word Bank Drill — Select the correct words from a shuffled set of options
- Word Order Drill — Arrange scrambled words back into the correct verse
- Type from Memory Drill — The ultimate test: type the entire verse from memory with no hints
- Recite Drill — Record yourself speaking the verse aloud, then assess how you did
Listen Mode lets you hear the verse read aloud with word-by-word highlighting at three speed levels, so you can absorb the rhythm and flow of the passage before drilling.
Adaptive practice sessions automatically balance current verses with review of previously learned ones using spaced repetition, the same science-backed technique used by language learning apps. The system knows which verses need reinforcement and schedules them accordingly. Earn XP and level up as you practice. You’ll earn experience points for every drill, with bonuses for perfect accuracy, completing full sessions, and mastering verses. Streak multipliers kick in at 7 and 30 consecutive days of practice, rewarding your consistency. And if you miss a day? Streak freezes (earned every 7 days of practice) let you preserve your streak without penalty.

Nail it, and the verse is immediately marked as mastered — turning your verse card green with a satisfying completion badge.
