Good news to those who have been waiting. We have links up and live for those who would like to nominate a beloved family member or church member for either the Seventh Day Baptist Women’s Society Robe of Achievement or Jenni Wangsness WISE (Women in Service Everywhere) Award. The deadline for application is May 31, 2026, so you have nearly two months to get your nominations in.
As a reminder of the difference between the two awards, the Jenni Wangsness WISE Award is a more recent award meant to honor women who have shown evidence of service above and beyond the call of duty in her home church, and the Robe of Achievement is an award that the Women’s Society has been presenting for decades. To be nominated for the Robe of Achievement a woman will have served the Seventh Day Baptist denomination in some fashion as well as served her local church, family, and community.
You might be thinking, “That’s not enough time!” Or possibly, “I will totally forget about this before the deadline.” In either case, you are wrong. You can do it! I am looking forward to reading all about the great women around our denomination.
