Stay Alert: Be Careful with Unexpected Email Links
We want to encourage everyone in our Seventh Day Baptist community to use extra caution with unexpected emails, especially those containing links or attachments.
Some phishing emails can look very convincing and may appear to come from a trusted person or organization. If you were not expecting the message, pause before clicking. Take a moment to check the sender’s address and consider whether the email feels unusual, urgent, or out of character.
If something seems off, it is best not to click. When possible, reach out to the sender another way to confirm the message is legitimate.
If you already clicked a suspicious link, consider changing your password, running a security scan on your device, and contacting a trusted IT professional if needed.
A little caution can go a long way in helping protect you, your church, and our wider Seventh Day Baptist community.
