Summer service projects are just around the corner in June! 16 SDB Emerging Leaders are concluding the on-line component of their servant-leadership training, undertaking their final preparation steps, and discovering what God has in store for their summer. As we complete final training steps, please lift up participants, project hosts, and staff in prayer.
This year’s project hosts include: Berlin SDB (Berlin, NY), Fort Lauderdale SDB (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Good News SDB (Apex. NC), West Palm Beach SDB (West Palm Beach, FL), Salem SDB (Salem, WV), Shiloh SDB (Shiloh, NJ), and the SDB Center (Janesville, WI). Watch for upcoming news as projects begin!
Summer Christian Service Corps (SCSC) and Dedicated Service comprise a servant-leadership program for young adults within the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference. SCSC is designed to stretch participants spiritually, strengthen leadership skills, and place people where faith meets action. Many thanks to the SCSC Committee for continuing to develop and organize this key ministry initiative, and for the SDB Memorial Fund’s steadfast support.
