Welcoming Nate Crandall as Coaching Coordinator

Written by Jeremiah Owen

May 27, 2026

The Seventh Day Baptist General Conference is pleased to announce Nate Crandall as our Coaching Coordinator.

For the last two and a half years, Nate has had an increasing role in the SDB General Conference, providing training and coaching for church planters, Emerging Leaders, pastors, and ministry leaders. This new role builds on that work and helps give greater shape and support to the coaching ministry already taking place across the Conference.

Nate also brings valuable pastoral experience, having served as pastor at The Connecting Church in Milton, Wisconsin. His background in local church ministry, leadership development, and practical coaching makes him well suited to encourage and equip churches and leaders as they take meaningful next steps in ministry.

As Coaching Coordinator, Nate will help support churches, pastors, and ministry leaders through coaching, connection, and practical guidance. His work will strengthen the Conference’s ability to walk alongside leaders as they grow, navigate transitions, and pursue faithful ministry in their communities.

Nate is already hitting the ground running. One of his first efforts in this expanded role will be a visit to Frontier Church, Longmont, as they continue working toward Conference membership at Conference 2026. We are grateful for Nate’s willingness to serve in this important moment and for the opportunity to support Frontier Longmont in their journey.

Please join us in welcoming Nate Crandall into this role. We are thankful for his leadership, experience, and continued commitment to serving Seventh Day Baptist churches.
