Here is a timely SCSC project update from Lora Sweeney of the SCSC Committee. Read on to discover the who, where, what, when, and why of SCSC 2026.
Jersey Oaks Camp was a great setting for the young adults participating in Summer Christian Service Corps (SCSC) and Dedicated Service this summer to learn about “Working from Rest.” Pastor Carl Greene, Training Director, led the students in expanding their understanding of the importance of good work and good rest. The students did indeed work hard and rest hard as they learned from instructors both in person and virtual. The work and rest were interspersed with some play and even some fun (but just a little Pastor Carl!) as they practiced their camp counseling skills.
Please pray for Team Sabbath (Exodus 20:8) as they continue their hard work in their projects over the next several weeks.
