Sabbath Recorder – Fall 2026

The Fall 2026 issue of the Sabbath Recorder centers on Conference 2026 and the call to follow Jesus as fishers of people. From a young adult’s wake-up moment in everyday life to awards, teen leadership, mission partnership, and church news, this issue invites you to celebrate what God is doing among Seventh Day Baptists and to keep answering the call where you already are.

Inside, you will find Sydney Feldbauer’s Conference message “Wake Up! Let’s Go Fishin’!,” Conference photos and Sabbath awards and recognitions, the Robe of Achievement for Karen Payne, and the Jenni Wangsness WISE Award profile of Sherrill Krynick. This issue also includes a report on the inaugural IGNITE Teen Initiative, Andrew Camenga’s introduction to the 2027 Conference theme “Be Faithful in the Ordinary,” Miriam Berg’s account of an unexpected mission trip to Guyana, reflections from Winnie Hoffman, church news from Phoenix, Cumberland, and Milton, Donna S. Bond’s story of patriotism in Shiloh, Joel and Judith Houts on moving when God says to move, death notices, and Rick’s Ramblings.
