The Summit 2024 (A SDB Pastors Conference) will take place from April 26-28, 2024 (with an optional preaching seminar on April 29) in Southern New Jersey. The theme will be The Shepherd Pastor. All serving or retired pastors/church planters/chaplains/preachers/pastor-type people and their spouses are welcome to attend. Anyone who is training for pastoral ministry or is feeling a call to pastoral ministry and their spouse are also welcome to attend. If you have a question as to whether you should be attending, please contact the Director of Pastoral Services.

The cost to attend is $175 per person (an additional $50 for the optional preaching seminar). To help us plan effectively, you must pay ahead of time by April 19 by check to the SDB Center (made payable to Pastoral Services) or by credit/debit card. If payment is not received by April 19, we will NOT be able to guarantee you a spot. Assistance may be available for you from our continuing education funds or other sources. If you need to overcome an obstacle to your attendance, please contact the Director of Pastoral Services. WE WANT YOU THERE!

TRAVEL

April 25 and 29 will be travel days. (April 30 if attending the optional preaching seminar)
Flights should be booked into and out of the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). We will arrange transportation ONLY to and from the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on April 25 and April 29 or 30.
Please email all flight arrangements to the Director of Pastoral Services.

LODGING

Those who selected lodging will be staying at the Quality Inn & Suites Millville-Vineland. You do not need to make your own arrangements with the hotel. You will be assigned a room if you choose lodging. You should not arrive before 3pm on April 25. If you are not staying at the hotel for all 4 or 5 nights, please let the Director of Pastoral Services know by April 19, 2024.

SCHEDULE

More information will be emailed to each registrant about one week before arrival. We will begin by 9am on Friday, April 26 and we will go through dinner on April 28 (April 29 for those staying for the preaching seminar).

PREACHING SEMINAR ADD-ON (OPTIONAL)

We are offering a preaching seminar as an Add-On to your registration extending your experience one day more. We will be focusing on the topics of Exegeting the Audience, Preaching Generationally and Multiculturally, and Sermon Delivery in the 2020s, as well as some group discussion concerning sermon delivery and preparation. This add-on will extend your stay for one additional day providing meals and lodging on April 29, 2024 and will cost $50. More details to come.
